Nature Medicine: Organoids: A better in vitro model

In addition to writing for a lay audience, I have also written news features for scientists. This type of reporting and writing requires an in-depth understanding of both the subject matter, and the understanding of what information and narrative best serves a specific audience.

This piece appeared in Nature Methods in 2017. I reported it as a freelance piece while working full-time as a science writer for a different publication. It required a crash course in cell modeling, detailed interviews with multiple researchers, and intense fact-checking.
